Montessori Academy Delivers Donation to Eagle Community Foodbank
Donation was the culmination of school's "Birthday in a Bag" project to provide children in need with birthday party supplies
On July 16, summer campers from Montessori Academy in Eagle delivered donations to Eagle Community Foodbank. Since the end of June, campers had been working on a “Birthday in a Bag” project and collected donations of cake mix, frosting, candles, party decorations, favors and gifts. Campers then assembled 22 birthday bags to provide children in need with all of the items needed to have a birthday celebration. Throughout this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping other children in their community.
