Suspect Arrested In Boise Following Shots Fired, Domestic Violence Investigation

On 5/4/2020 around 2:22 a.m. Boise Police were called to a home in the area of W. Irving and N. Milwaukee St. for a report of shots fired. When police arrived they were able to identify the suspect and take him into custody. The suspect, Juan Flores, was found to be violating an active protection order by showing up at the residence and contacting the protected party. After an investigation, officers found evidence of a domestic dispute. They also found evidence that the suspect fired a gun nearly striking a child sleeping in the room. The child was not injured.

After further investigation, the suspect was taken to the Ada County Jail and booked on the listed charges. Boise Police Victim Witness coordinators are assisting the victims.
