Wildfire Rages In Eagle During Sunday Storm

The Eagle and Boise fire departments responded to the blaze Sunday night.

EAGLE, ID - Firefighters from Boise and Eagle responded to a wildfire Sunday night. The fire broke out as storms bringing wind and lightning swept through the area. The Eagle fire was one of several in southern Idaho on Sunday.

A wildfire along I-85 near Glenns Ferry broke out Sunday night around 8 p.m. The fire was contained early Monday morning, but wasn't expected to be completely out until Monday afternoon. The highway was shut down for a period, but was open as of Monday morning.
