• Pocatello City Council formally approves 'Bengal Community Partnership' agreement with ISU (idahostatejournal.com) — Chubbuck’s City Council is slated to consider its own partnership agreement with Idaho State University on Oct. 7, mirroring a deal Pocatello just approved to deepen city–campus collaboration. For Chubbuck residents, this could mean closer ties to ISU resources, more student engagement in local life, and coordinated efforts on education, workforce development, and community projects across the two neighboring cities.
   

• The Avenue Event Center to host haunted tours, 35-table pool tournament, and more this fall (idahopress.com) — A regional slate of fall events, co-presented by Visit Pocatello-Chubbuck, includes haunted history tours starting this weekend and the Gem State Diamond Classic pool tournament Nov. 3–8 at The Avenue Event Center in downtown Pocatello. Chubbuck-area residents can also look forward to a kids’ entrepreneurial market in November, plus chances to rent the refreshed venue for holiday gatherings and community activities.
