• BR cross county runs in final regular season meet of season (hjnews.com) — A recent cross country meet brought visiting high school teams to Heyburn for the Burley Hope Run, giving local runners a strong field of competition. Bear River's boys placed second and the girls fifth, with several athletes posting top-20 finishes. The teams now turn their focus to the upcoming Region 11 Championship in Salt Lake City.
• Riverton Classical Academy charter school coming soon to the Mini-Cassia region (kivitv.com) — A new public charter school, Riverton Classical Academy, is coming to the Mini-Cassia region and already drawing interest from Heyburn-area families.
