Cory Hurley appointed as new Fire Marshal (mountainhomenews.com) β Mountain Home residents have a new Fire Marshal, as Lieutenant Cory Hurley steps into the role immediately to lead fire prevention, safety inspections, and investigations across the city. Fire Chief Joel Watters praised Hurley's leadership and commitment to community safety, and the department says his promotion will strengthen local risk-reduction and code-enforcement efforts.

3. 366th AMXS reactivated, continues legacy of Gunfighter maintenance (af.mil) β Mountain Home Air Force Base has reactivated the 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, consolidating flightline maintenance leadership while deactivating two Fighter Generation Squadrons. Leaders say day-to-day work for maintainers will feel similar, but the new structure is meant to better support the 366th Fighter Wing's combat readiness and reconnect today's Airmen with decades of Gunfighter heritage.

Goodfellow AFB Added to Program Linking Military Spouses with Civilian Jobs (sanangelolive.com) β Military spouses headed to Mountain Home Air Force Base can now tap into a new Air Force program that connects them with civilian hiring teams before they arrive. The Global Military Spouse Connection pilot, recently expanded to include Mountain Home, aims to ease career disruptions by matching qualified spouses to openings on base, though it does not guarantee a job.
