Hillcrest Knights edge Twin Falls Bruins 28-27 in state semifinal rematch (localnews8.com) — Twin Falls fans saw a thriller as the Bruins fell just one point short to Hillcrest, 28-27, in a state semifinal rematch in Twin Falls. After trailing 8-3 at halftime, Twin Falls stormed back with defensive and passing touchdowns but couldn't quite complete the comeback against Hillcrest's strong air attack.

Twin Falls Fire: Residential structure fire put out in minutes, causes heavy structure damage (ktvb.com) — A Twin Falls home in the 200 block of Sidney Street suffered heavy exterior and attic damage Sunday when a fast-moving fire sent a large smoke column over town. Twin Falls Fire crews, aided by Rock Creek Fire, paramedics, and police, knocked down the blaze within minutes, and all eight occupants escaped safely with no injuries reported.
3. Siblings live Chobani Scholars program impacts (capitalpress.com) — Twin Falls residents connected to agriculture may be interested in Chobani's scholarship program, which supports local students and includes tours of the company's large Twin Falls yogurt plant. Three siblings from nearby Jerome share how the renewable awards helped them attend the University of Idaho, explore agricultural careers, and plan to return to serve the Magic Valley's dairy community.
4. Groundbreaking Held for Idaho-Nevada Transmission Line Project (publicpower.org) — A major new power line is being built to link the Midpoint Substation near Twin Falls with Nevada, creating a 576-mile corridor that will move electricity across the West. When finished in 2028, the project will boost grid reliability, add 500 megawatts of northbound capacity for Idaho Power customers, and strengthen Magic Valley's connection to regional energy markets.
