2 Vehicles Found Underwater In Mississippi River Along Illinois Border
Police believe the vehicles have been there for years, according to reports.

MOLINE, IL — Two vehicles were recently found underwater in the Mississippi River in Moline, according to reports.
The discovery occurred Monday morning when a dive team was surveying underwater for a construction company near the city's 55th Street ramp, according to WQAD.
The vehicles included a Chevy pickup reported stolen in May 2013 from East Moline and a Chrysler sedan reported stolen in November 2006 from Moline, according to KWQC, which noted police believe both vehicles have been in the river for years.

Law enforcement will consult authorities about whether to remove the vehicles, according to WQAD. Anyone with information about either vehicle is asked to call 309-762-9500 or use the P3 Tips app, KWQC reported.
