2026 Car Shows, Cruise Nights: Illinois Round-Up

Check out the car events throughout the Chicago suburbs.

It's time for the 2026 season of cruising and checking out car shows.

Many Chicago suburbs enjoy such shows, some regularly throughout the summer. These events offer other features, including live entertainment.

COOK COUNTY

  • Berwyn: Berwyn Cruise Nites, Home and Windsor avenues, starting at 5 p.m. first and third Mondays from June to August.
  • Chicago Ridge, Cruise Nite, Glenn Maker American Legion Post, 10739 Ridgeland Ave., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday nights during the summer.
  • Hillside: Classic Cruise Night (including concerts), Hillside Commons, 4950 Washington St., 5 p.m. Tuesdays during summer.
  • Lemont: Cruise Nights & Block Party, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays from June 3 to Aug. 26, except July 1.
  • Palos Heights: Palos Heights Classic Car Event, both sides of Harlem Avenue, between 122nd and 125th streets, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 16.
  • Summit: Father's Day Car Show, Summit Park District, 5700 S. Archer Road, starting at 10 a.m. June 20.
  • Tinley Park: Cruise Nights, along Oak Park Avenue from 171st Street to 173rd Place, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays from June to September.
  • Worth: Worth Metra Car Show, 115th Street and Harlem Avenue, noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 14.

KANE COUNTY

  • South Elgin: Cruise Nights, Panton Mill Park, 10 N. Water Street, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., third Tuesdays June through August.
  • St. Charles: Car Show, Kane County Fair, Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, July 18-19.

KANKAKEE COUNTY

LAKE COUNTY

  • Lake Bluff: Lake Bluff History Museum Auto Show, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. June 27.
  • Libertyville: Car Fun on 21, Church and Cook streets in downtown, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., third Wednesdays from May 20 to Sept. 16.
  • Wauconda: Cruise Nights, Main Street in downtown, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., third Tuesday from June to September.

McHENRY COUNTY

WILL COUNTY

  • Frankfort: Frankfort Car Club's Cruise Nights, across the street from Trail's Edge Restaurant, 20 Kansas St., downtown, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday nights from June 1 through Sept. 21.
  • Homer Glen: Lemont Classic Car Club Cruise Nights. p.m. The first one is 5 p.m.to 8 p.m. May 21 at Konow's Corn Maze, 16849 S. Cedar Road. More information is to come on the website.
  • Lockport: Cruisin' Into Lockport, Ninth and State streets in downtown, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays from June 1 to Aug. 24.
  • Manhattan: Manhattan Cruise Nights, Wabash Street parking lot downtown, 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 10, July 8, Aug. 12 and Sept. 16.
  • Joliet: Babe's Hot Dogs Cruise Nights, 2600 W. Jefferson St., 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays during the summer.
  • Joliet: Cars & Guitars on Route 66, Joliet City Square, 105 N. Chicago St., 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., May 1, June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, Aug. 6.
  • Joliet: Cruise Nights, Ace Drive-In, 1207 Plainfield Road, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays from June through August.
  • Joliet: Joliet Cruise Night, Stone City VFW, 124 Stone City Drive, 6 p.m. Wednesdays during the summer.
  • New Lenox: Cruise the Commons, Veterans Parkway, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., third Tuesdays through September.
  • New Lenox: Cruise Night, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 8, Laraway Lanes, 1009 W. Laraway Road.
  • Peotone: Peotone Swap Meet & Car Show, Will County Fairgrounds, 710 S. West St., 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8.
  • Peotone: Peotone Cruise Nights, 210 N. Second St., 5 p.m to 8 p.m. every other Thursday (June 11, June 25, July 9, July 23, Aug. 6, Aug. 20, Sept.3, Sept. 17, Oct. 1, Oct. 15, Oct. 29)
  • Plainfield: Cruise Nights, Des Plaines Street near Station One Smokehouse entrance, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from June 2 to Aug. 18.
  • Plainfield: Charity Bike Ride & Classic Car Show (also Ride for the Troops), Webb Chevy Plainfield, 10 a.m. May 31.
