8 Injured In Chemical Exposure At IL Nuclear Plant: Reports
The injured parties were taken to the hospital, reports said.

OGLE COUNTY, IL — Eight workers were injured in connection with a chemical exposure on Tuesday at a nuclear power plant in rural Byron, according to reports.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m., mystateline.com reported, while the employees were working on an outage at the Byron Clean Energy Center, located on North German Church Road south of Byron in Ogle County.
The chemical, which was common and non-radiological, escaped its holding tank, according to WREX, which reported Constellation said the leak was quickly contained.

The injuries are believed to be minor but those affected were taken to the hospital, mystateline.com reported.
