Steve Collins got this great nature shot. "When my neighbors saw me chasing this Spicebush Swallowtail around my daughter's garden in Downers Grove, they must have thought I was having full body muscle spasms because of the way I was contorting while waving my phone. For a brief moment, it stayed still on this zinnia and let me capture this one image," he tells us.
Denise Shaw, of Barrington, sent in a photo of Paisley, Belle and Jules on a boat.
Joyce Fenner captured this image of a bee finding new pollen in Shorewood.
Ellen Vestergaard was in the right spot to get this photo of a juvenile Cooper's hawk in Hinsdale.
Harold Aardsma tells us he "loved the bullseye look" of this photo taken Wolfe Wildlife.
Mary Jean Fahey, of Oak Forest, got a nice shot while on Stone Lake in Michigan.
Ann MacIntosh Baker, of Western Springs, photographed this female Ruby-throated hummingbird feeding on one of her geraniums.
