Storms are possible Friday afternoon to start off the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. No severe weather is expected.
Isolated storms are possible north of Interstate 80, the weather service said.
The weekend will be "unseasonably warm", with a high of 82 on both Friday and Saturday, and a high of 77 on Sunday, according to the current forecast.
After storms on Friday, there is also a chance of showers on Saturday night and Sunday morning for areas southeast of Interstate 55. The weather service said mostly dry conditions are still expected through early next week.
The warmer temperatures will also stick around to start off the work week, with a high of 86 expected on Monday and a high of 81 degrees on Tuesday.

FRIDAY: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 60. East southeast wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
SATURDAY: Increasing clouds, with a high near 80. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 74. East wind around 5 mph becoming north in the afternoon.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
