Janice Grams, of Joliet, took this photograph of a Cooper's hawk, who she said was blended in with the leaves and that she almost walked into him. "He had a squirrel, but can’t see it from this angle," Grams told us. "I was so startled by his size and wing span, I just took this one photo on the ground."
