Chilly Start To Week Before Milder Temperatures Return To Chicago Area

The week will start out cool on Monday, and then we will get to 70 degrees by the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday will have a high of 55, and lows on Monday night will be done in the 20s, according to the current forecast. Tuesday stays chilly with a high of 47. There is also a chance of a rain/snow mix on both Monday night and Tuesday night due to the chilly temperatures.

"Temperatures then turn milder by the middle and end of the week with an incrasing chance for showers," the weather service said on its Facebook.

The high for Wednesday is 68 degrees, and 69 on Thursday. Friday was also be warmer with a high of 66 degrees.

"Periods of shower chances remain through the weekend," the weather service said. There is a chance of rain on Wednesday night, Thursday and Friday.
