Extreme Cold Continues Through The Week, Nighttime Sub-Zero Wind Chills Expected
While "some improvement" is expected Monday afternoon, below-zero wind chills will continue.
Cold temperatures will stick around all week, as well as sub-zero wind chills in the nighttime and morning hours, according to the National Weather Service.
A cold weather advisory is in effect through noon on Monday. Wind chills of 25 below zero are expected before "some improvement" on Monday afternoon, the weather service said.

The highs for the week are all in teens, with a high of 11 on Monday, 19 on Tuesday and Wednesday, 16 on Thursday and 17 on Friday, according to the current forecast.
The weather service said there is a chance of snow mid-week, possibly on Wednesday evening. The rest of the week appears to be dry, and mostly cloudy.

MONDAY: Sunny and cold, with a high near 10. Wind chill values as low as -19. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT: A 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. Increasing clouds, with a temperature rising to around 12 by 5am. Wind chill values as low as -13. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 16. Wind chill values as low as -4. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 1. Wind chill values as low as -12. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 16. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
