Mike Sebastian sent in this photograph he took of the Fischer Windmill Historic Site, located in the far northeast corner of Elmhurst at Mount Emblem Cemetery. Sebastian said it was built at the end of the Civil War and is mentioned in Elmhurst’s entry in the recent World Atlas article on "Friendliest Towns in Illinois."

Facundo Dovale, of Burr Ridge, photographed a Great Blue Heron in his backyard pond.

Raj Krish caught a sunset while traveling along 111th Street in Naperville. He said the beauty in the shot is that no filter was used and it's a "raw" picture.
