ILLINOIS — Above normal temperatures will continue through the weekend, as a "fairly tranquil" few days are expected, the National Weather Service said.
Patchy fog is possible overnight into Saturday, primarily in areas southwest and west of Chicago, according to the National Weather Service. Fog could be dense and cause slick spots, if it develops.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy, but dry during the day, according to the weather service. A high of 37 is expected, and there is a chance of snow late Saturday.

AccuWeather called for mainly cloudy skies on Sunday, with cloud cover at 85 percent. The private forecaster gave a 16 percent chance of precipitation, with no expected accumulation on Sunday.
Temperatures will warm slightly as we start the work week again, and a high of 43 is expected on Monday, according to the weather service.
