Jill Compton, of Oswego, saw this long-eared owl sitting on a patio chair in her backyard and took a photo. "I got close to him while his head was facing away from me," she tells us. "When he turned his head and saw me, his eyes focused in on me. He stared at me for a few seconds and then flew away."
