Flurries, Snow Possible, Colder End To The Week For Illinois
Snow showers and flurries are possible Thursday night.
ILLINOIS — After a few days that felt more like spring than the dead of winter, temperatures will remain colder for the end of the week and weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, it will become "blustery and colder area-wide," on Thursday as rain is expected mainly south of Interstate 80.
The high for Thursday is 41 degrees, and 31 degrees for Thursday night.

Snow showers and flurries are possible Thursday night, according to the weather service. Friday could also see some lake effect snow showers in northwest Indiana and "a few snow showers elsewhere."
AccuWeather said Friday has a forecast of "low clouds and breezy with a snow shower." The private forecaster gave a 65 percent chance of precipitation, with .1 inches of snow.

Friday will have a high of 34 degrees, and again will be windy with gusts up to 25 mph, according to the weather service forecast.
