The study took factors like crime, public schools, cost of living and more to find the best suburbs in the country.

ILLINOIS — On Niche's latest list of America's 50 best suburbs, Illinois snagged nearly 20 percent of the spots. Ranging from No. 3 to No. 49, many of Illinois' suburbs make easy work out of creating great places to live.
At the top of the list was Carmel, Indiana. With a median home value just over $300,000, a median household income of over $100,000 and an A-minus in crime and safety.
