ILLINOIS — Light rain and drizzle may be expected for parts of the Chicago area on Monday, however, the week is expected to be largely rain-free, according to the National Weather Service Chicago.

Temperatures will be in the 70s for the rest of the week, and it will be dry and partly sunny.

A high of 73 is expected Tuesday, 77 on Wednesday, 71 on Thursday and 71 on Friday.
"Temperatures are expected to warm up into mid-week, though areas near the Lake Michigan shore will remain several degrees cooler than areas farther inland," the weather service said.

Currently, the warmer temperatures are set to stick around for the weekend as well, with a high of 75 on Saturday and a high of 73 on Sunday, according to the weather service forecast.
