Patch wants to help Illinois readers honor the veterans in their lives. Find out how to share dedications and photos for Veterans Day 2022.
ACROSS ILLINOIS — This year, Veterans Day falls on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. To pay tribute to veterans across Illinois, Patch is asking readers to submit photos and dedications that will be published in an upcoming Veterans Day article.
Here's how to share photos and stories to honor your veteran:
1. Email a photograph to lisa.farver@patch.com.

2. Include the subject line "Veterans Day 2021."
3. Include the veteran's name, hometown, branch of service and years of service.

4. Share a few sentences about why this veteran means so much to you.
5. Include the phrase, "I give Patch permission to use the attached photo."
The deadline to submit a 2022 Veterans Day tribute is Nov. 10 at 5 p.m.
