Pleasant Friday, Before Warm And Humid Saturday For Chicago Area
There is a chance of rain Sunday and again on Monday to start the work week.
"Dry and pleasant" weather is expected into the weekend, before a storm chance returns early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
"The work week will close on a pleasant note today, followed by warm and humid conditions ahead of a weak cold front on Saturday," the weather service said.
Friday will have a high of 83 degrees, and Saturday a high of 88 degrees.

Sunday will be cooler for most, especially near the lake, the weather service said. It will also be less humid, with a chance of rain during the day, and a few showers possible Sunday night.
Monday will be warmer again to start the work week, with a high of 86 degrees, and there is a chance of showers or a thunderstorm.

FRIDAY: Sunny, with a high near 81. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 10 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. South southeast wind around 5 mph.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. West wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight.
SUNDAY: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. North wind around 5 mph, with gusts as high as 10 mph.
SUNDAY NIGHT: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.
