ILLINOIS — A pleasant weekend is ahead before hot temperatures return for the work week once more. According to the National Weather Service, temps will be in the 80s all weekend, with sunny skies.
The weather service said a cold front will push through the area on Friday night, and Saturday will have a high of 80 degrees, and Sunday a high of 85.

Winds behind the cold front will create hazardous rip current conditions at beaches, the weather service said.
