Pools, Splash Pad 2026 Opening Dates For Chicago Area

ILLINOIS — The arrival of Memorial Day weekend usually signifies the unofficial start of summer, as many area schools finish the year and the weather starts to heat up.

And with the start of summer, in many Patch towns, community outdoor pools and splash pads are opening.
