Rainy Thanksgiving Day Possible, Temps In 50s For Chicago Area
Temps will warm up to the 50s for most of this week, just in time to carve some turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
ILLINOIS — After a weekend of frigid temperatures, the weather will start looking a little bit warmer for Thanksgiving this week. According to the National Weather Service, the first half of the week will feature temps in the 50s, and should be dry and sunny.
Monday will have a high of 48 degrees, Tuesday a high of 51, and Wednesday a high of 55 degrees, according to the weather service.
All three days should be dry and sunny, the weather service said.

Thanksgiving Day on Thursday will have a high of 51 degrees, but there is a chance of rain during the day and a few showers expected on Thursday night, according to the weather service.
AccuWeather called for a high of 54 degrees on Thanksgiving Day, with a "passing shower in the afternoon" possible. The private forecaster gave a 55 percent chance of precipitation on Thursday.

Rain will continue on Friday, which has an expected high of 43 degrees, according to the weather service. There is a chance of rain during the day on Friday, and a slight chance of rain and snow on Friday night.
