ILLINOIS — Scattered storms are possible Thursday afternoon, with a threat of lightning, small hail and gusty winds, according to the National Weather Service.

Storm coverage will diminish Thursday evening, ending after sunset.
Isolated storms are also possible on Friday, mainly along and west of the Interstate 39 corridor.

The warm temperatures are also expected to continue through the weekend, with a high of 90 expected on Thursday, 93 on Friday, 93 on Saturday, 89 on Sunday and 88 on Monday, according to the weather service.
