ILLINOIS — After a hot Tuesday and a warmer Wednesday, autumn air will begin to move in to the Chicago area, according to the National Weather Service.
By Thursday, the high for the day is only 65 degrees, according to the weather service forecast.
However, summer-like warmth will stick around for the beginning of the week as Monday will have a high of 82, Tuesday a high of 92 and Wednesday a high of 82.

The weather service said there is a chance for scattered storms Tuesday morning, mainly over northeast Illinois.
AccuWeather also called for a stray thunderstorm on Tuesday morning, and a high of 88 degrees.

Thursday should be sunny and dry, but the high will be 65, the weather service said.
AccuWeather forecasted a high of 64, and said the day will be a "dramatic change to fall weather."
Friday will also be cooler, with a high of 64 degrees, according to the weather service.
