Snow, Rain To Return To Illinois After Warmer Temperatures
A chance of snow begins on Wednesday night, and continuing into Thursday.
ILLINOIS — Temperatures will reach highs near 50 degrees mid-week, before a chance of rain and snow returns to end the week, according to the National Weather Service.
After several days of clouds and gray skies, Chicago area residents will see some sun on Monday, before clouds return Monday evening, the weather service said on its Twitter.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be cloudy, with a high of 45 degrees on Tuesday and a high of 48 on Wednesday.

A chance of snow begins on Wednesday night into the overnight hours. Snow chances will continue on Thursday and Thursday night; and Thursday will be blustery with a high of 40 degrees.
AccuWeather said Thursday will be "breezy with rain and snow showers." The private forecaster gave a 91 percent chance of precipitation, and a forecast of .15 inches of rain and .1 inch of snow.

There is a chance of snow on Friday, which will be colder, with a high of 35 degrees. Cloudy skies will end the day on Friday, according to the weather service.
