Temps Warm To Near 70, Before Rain Moves Into Chicago Area
The next weather system and rain chances moves in after mid-week in the Chicago area.
ILLINOIS — Temperatures will warm up to the 60s and could reach near 70 "ahead of our next weather system and rain chances," according to the National Weather Service.
Lake effect showers are possible on Monday, and could continue on and off throughout the day, the weather service said. The high for Monday will be 58 degrees.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 60 degrees. The weather service said that temperatures will "gradually warm up mid-week" before increasing rain chances for the later half of the week.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 69. There will be a chance of afternoon showers, especially north of Interstate 55, according to the weather service.
Rain chances continue Thursday and Friday, which will have a high of 63 and 60, respectively.
