Snow Possible In Chicago Area Mid-Week: See Latest Forecast
The week starts with mild temps before conditions turn colder and snowier on Wednesday.
Milder weather will start the week, before another chance of snow returns to the Chicago area, according to the National Weather Service.
Temps will be in the 40s to start the week, with even a high of 50 degrees possible on Tuesday, before conditions turn colder on Wednesday.
Sprinkles will be possible on Tuesday, and a chance of flurries on Tuesday night, according to the weather service.

Wind-whipped snow showers are then possible Wednesday.
Wednesday will have "periods of snow showers in the morning, and a chance of snow showers and/or flurries in the afternoon, followed by accumulating lake effect snow focusing into parts of northwest Indiana late in the day Wednesday into Thursday morning," the weather service said on its Facebook.

There is also another chance of snow on Thursday night, the weather service said.
After Tuesday, temperatures will be in the 20s on Wednesday and Thursday, and Friday has a high of 33 degrees.

TUESDAY: A slight chance of sprinkles after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 48. West southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Snow showers likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a north wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. Blustery.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26.
THURSDAY NIGHT: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21.
FRIDAY: Scattered snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 33.
