'World's Most Notorious Rock Band' Joins Lineup For 2024 IL State Fair

The rock band will join Jordan Davis and Grammy-winner Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit to perform at the festivities planned in August.

ILLINOIS — A legendary outfit dubbed the "world's most notorious rock band" was tapped to headline the 2024 Illinois State Fair Grandstand concert series.

Organizers announced Mötley Crüe's addition Tuesday on Facebook, saying the group will perform Aug. 10.

The rock band will join Grammy-winner Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit as well as Jordan Davis to perform at the annual festivities planned Aug. 8-18 in Springfield. Ashley McBryde will join the former for a show Aug. 11, while Ashley Cooke and King Calaway will be Davis’s special guests on Aug. 13.

Tickets for the Mötley Crüe show will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 2 on Ticketmaster.
