1 Dead In Single-Vehicle Crash On Algonquin Road
The collision happened Wednesday night in Lake in the Hills.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — One person is dead after a car ran into a guardrail at Algonquin and Pyott roads Wednesday night.
The collision happened at about 9:20 p.m. when a Toyota Tacoma headed west on Algonquin Road lost control, hit the guardrail and flipped over, landing on its roof. The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was inside the car at the time of the crash, and no other vehicles were involved in the collision, according to a news release from the Lake in the Hills Police Department.
