$1M Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Huntley

The jackpot has soared to more than $1 billion. Tuesday's winning $1 million ticket was sold at a convenience store in Huntley Tuesday.

ACROSS ILLINOIS — There was no jackpot winner in the $830 million Mega Millions drawing Tuesday, but a $1 million winning Mega Millions lottery ticket was sold in Huntley.

The lucky lotto winner bought their ticket from JM Food Shop at 11200 N. IL Route 47 in Huntley.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to $1.025 billion, and the next drawing will be on Friday. Only three jackpots over $1 billion have ever been won in the U.S.

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each, and players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes, according to a news release.
