2 Pets Rescued From Algonquin Fire

ALGONQUIN, IL — Firefighters rescued two family pets from a garage fire in Algonquin Monday evening, fire officials said.

The blaze at 10 Charminster Court was reported at about 5:45 p.m. and caused at least $100,000 in damage, the Daily Herald is reporting. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.
