3 Girls Beaten Near Randall Pedestrian Tunnel: Police

The altercation involving 15 to 20 boys happened on Valentine's Day.

ALGONQUIN, IL — Three girls, ages 12, 15 and 16, were reportedly beaten by a large group of boys, ranging in ages 8 to 15, during a dispute that turned physical near the Randall Road pedestrian tunnel in Algonquin on Valentine’s Day.

Now one 13-year-old boy has been charged in juvenile court in connection with the altercation, according to Shaw Local. One of the girls was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police say the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
