3 LITH Playgrounds To Be Replaced
The dated playground equipment at Ryder Park, Ken Carpenter Park and Sunset Park will be replaced.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL – Three Lake in the Hills parks will get updated playground equipment. This summer, the 20-year-old playgrounds at Ryder Park, Ken Carpenter Park and Sunset Park will be replaced. The village of Lake in the Hills provided an update on the playground renovation project:
- Ryder Park - The Village's contractor began removing the existing playground equipment this week and the replacement project is expected to be complete by May 31st. The design plan for the new playground is shown above.
- Ken Carpenter Park - Demolition is expected to start on May 28th and the replacement project is expected to be complete by July 4th.
- Sunset Park - The replacement project is complete and the new playground is open to the public.
