4 Injured When Dump Truck, Cars Collide On Algonquin Road

BARRINGTON HILLS, IL — Four people were hospitalized Thursday morning following a crash on Algonquin Road in Barrington Hills.

The collision involved a dump truck and two passenger vehicles and caused the dump truck to roll over and spill its contents across the roadway, according to the Daily Herald. The crash forced the closure of a stretch of Algonquin Road for more than four hours while crews cleared the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
