Algonquin Library Hosting Blood Drive February 22

Be Someone's Rescue Story and Make an Appointment to Donate Blood

On February 22 from 3 to 7pm, the Algonquin Area Public Library District (AAPLD) will host a blood drive at the Harnish Main Library, 2600 Harnish Drive (west of Randall Road). This blood drive is conducted in partnership with Heartland Blood Centers. Heartland is the sole provider to 65 hospitals in the Chicagoland area, including all area Veterans Affairs hospitals.

Schedule your appointment today at www.heartlandbc.org. Make sure you’ve either selected by city (Algonquin) or by date (February 22). Appointments appreciated but walk-ins are accommodated (photo ID required). Your donation will save up to three lives—and you’ll receive a Moretti’s coupon as a bonus.

If you need help scheduling your appointment, please contact Theresa Therens, AAPLD Blood Drive Chairperson, at 847-458-3133. Questions about donating blood? Contact Heartland Representative Carrie Futchko at 815-271-2910.
