Algonquin Arrests: DUIs, Retail Theft

ALGONQUIN, IL —The Algonquin Police Department arrested or issued citations to the following people in recent days:

Zachary Q. Finucane, 18, of the 600 block of David Street in Lake in the Hills, was pulled over at Randall Road and Grandview Drive at 8:33 p.m. on Aug. 11. He was charged with speeding and issued a notice to appear in McHenry County.

David Bermudez, 40, of the 500 block of North Lyle Avenue in Elgin, was pulled over at 11:10 a.m. on Aug. 12 at Randall and County Line roads and charged with speeding. He was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County.

Sarah T. Nichols, 19, of the 800 block of Dartmoor Drive in Crystal Lake, was pulled over at 700 Highland Avenue at 5:18 p.m. on Aug. 12. Nichols was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of open alcohol and speeding. She was released with a court date in McHenry County.

Ali O. Donmez, 41, was pulled over at Huntington Drive and Harnish Drive at 6:35 p.m. on Aug. 12 and charged with no valid driver's license and disobeying a stop sign. He was released with a Notice to Appear in McHenry County.

Daniel Arias-Lopez, of the 1300 block of Sacramento Drive in Carpentersville, was pulled over at 7:03 p.m. on Aug. 13 at Longmeadow Parkway and Sedgewood Trail and charged with no valid driver's license and speeding. He was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County.

Maxwell J. Counter, 28, of the 300 block of Somerset Drive in Streamwood, was arrested at Randall Road and Corporate Parkway at 2:50 p.m. on Aug. 14 and charged with retail theft and driving while license suspended. He as taken to the McHenry County Jail.

Oleh Selskyy, 22, of the 900 block of Ridgewood Drive in Cary, was pulled over at Huntington Drive and Route 31 at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 15. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.

Lisa M. Vosters, 36, was arrested at Randall Road and Grandview Court at 7:56 p.m. on Aug. 15 and charged with two counts of retail theft. She was released with a court date in McHenry County.

Kyle J. Quarrie, 33, of the 800 block of N. State Street in Marengo, was arrested at Randall Road and Grandview Court at 8:17 p.m. on Aug. 15 and charged with retail theft and driving while license revoked. Quarrie was also wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

Timothy Fragakis, 39, of the 2000 block of Orchard Lane in Carpentersville, was arrested at Randall Road and Grandview Court at 12:20 a.m. on Aug. 16. He is charged with driving while under the influence and speeding. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.

Josue R. Sosa, 24, of the 4200 block of West Potomac Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 11:32 p.m. on Aug. 16 at 2 N. Main Street. Sosa was charged with driving while under the influence, driving under the influence over .08, no valid driver's license and driving while license suspended. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
