Algonquin Clinic With Walk-In Injury Care Opens

OrthoIllinois along Randall Road in Algonquin has opened.

OrthoIllinois, a bone and joint health care provider in northern Illinois, has opened its newest clinic in Algonquin. The new site is located at 650 S. Randall Road, between Bunker Hill and Harnish drives. The clinic specializes in sports medicine, including shoulder, hip and knee injuries; hands, wrists and elbows; joint replacement; spine care, including surgical and nonsurgical options; pediatric orthopedic care; orthopedic trauma and podiatry.

The Algonquin location also has a walk-in Injury Express clinic, which offers convenient urgent care with expanded hours six days a week, according to the news release.

“This model has been extremely successful in addressing immediate injury treatment needs for patients since it was introduced in 2013 in Rockford,” according to the news release.

The 30,000-plus-square-foot clinic has 33 exams rooms, MRI, X-ray, physical and occupational/hand therapy.

“We are thrilled to become part of the Algonquin community and expand our high-quality subspecialty care so more people can get the proper diagnosis and treatment they need for bone and joint issues,” OrthoIlinois CEO Don Schreiner said. “Our goal is always to improve access to necessary orthopedic services, and we can’t wait for people to see this beautiful new clinic and meet our board-certified physicians and top-notch medical staff.”

Construction on the clinic started in September 2017.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6.

The Algonquin Clinic will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; Injury Express will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
