Algonquin Commons Shopping Mall Paving the Way

Algonquin Commons shopping mall is pleased to announce that they have begun their Paving The Way construction project on the mall’s storefront drive. This project is contracted under Landmark Contractors, Inc and began May 26th with barricade placement. Full-scale construction of site-asphalt and concrete rehabilitation will begin the week of June 1, 2015, and progress into fall of 2015.

All store-front sidewalks and the asphalt at the store-front drive will be replaced. Work began at the Southeast corner of the property, near Half-Priced Books and will progress west to Trader Joe’s. Please see the
enclosed site map and highlighted areas to show where work will be performed. The mall’s website,
www.ShopAtAlgonquinCommons.com will update work status as the project progresses.

Landmark Contractors, Inc. ensures public ways will be kept open for traffic and will maintain convenient access to store entrances at all times. The contractor has placed signage to identify all customer walkways.

During this Paving the Way project, Algonquin Commons is hosting social media and local giveaways to continue to entice customers to the mall. Watch the mall’s Facebook page for chances to win gift cards and merchandise during the construction. In addition, the mall is giving away plastic toy hard hats to any young guests to the mall during this project. Children can stop by the mall office to pick up their play construction hat and learn more about the project.
