Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District Extinguish Tahoe Parkway House Fire
One firefighters sustained minor injuries in the Tuesday incident; no civilians were injured.
On Tuesday evening, January 19th, 2021, at 9:05 p.m. the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District was dispatched for a structure fire at 2230 Tahoe Pkwy in Algonquin. First arriving fire crews arrived on the scene at 9:10 p.m. and found a two story single family home, with heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear exterior chimney. Crews initiated an aggressive offensive attack and the fire was under control at 9:25 p.m. The occupants of the residence evacuated the home prior to fire department arrival. One firefighters sustained minor injuries. No civilians were injured.
The Algonquin – Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District was aided by the Algonquin Police Department, Carpentersville Fire Department, Huntley Fire Protection District, Crystal Lake Fire Department, and the Fox River Grove Fire Protection District
