Algonquin/LITH Chamber Names New Executive Director

Kaleb Price is preparing to lead the organization as the chamber's longtime director prepares to relocate.

ALGONQUIN AND LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL —The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce has named Kaleb Price as its new executive director, marking a leadership transition for the organization that has served the local business community since 1952.

Chamber officials say Price brings experience and familiarity with the Chamber’s mission, having previously served on its board of directors and played a role in expanding its Ambassador program. He has also been involved in chamber-related initiatives across McHenry County, with a focus on local business advocacy and community engagement.

Outgoing Executive Director Greg Urban will remain in his role for one month to support the transition, according to a news release from the Chamber. During that time, he will work with Price to transfer operational knowledge, key relationships and internal systems to ensure continuity for members.

Urban is stepping down as he prepares to relocate out of state for family reasons.

“I have enjoyed the last three years tremendously and am very proud of what we have built together,” Urban said. “I know Kaleb will be able to take the processes, relationships, and community-building we have achieved and continue moving the Chamber forward.”
