Algonquin Opens Snapper Field Ice Rink

ALGONQUIN, IL -- The ice skating rink at Snapper’s Field, 599 Longwood Drive in Algonquin, is now open and ready for use, village officials said Thursday. Those stopping out should bring their own skates and dress in warm clothes.
Meanwhile, the skating rink at Willoughby Farms Park has not yet opened for the season. Area residents have been wondering when the rink will open.

The village sets up the Willoughby Farms ice rink in addition to Snapper's Field ice rink as conditions allow/cooperate. We don't have a firm schedule to share at this time..

In Lake in the Hills, Stoneybrook Ice Rink, at 617 Anderson Street, is not open for skating while the Sunset Park Ice Rink, at 5200 Miller Road, is open, according to an update Friday on the village's website.
