Algonquin Promotes Locations For Sledding And Ice Skating

With winter here, now is the time to catch up on your favorite winter pastimes at one of several locations in Algonquin. The Algonquin park system has several sledding hills and ice skating rinks available throughout the community.

Sledding hills are available at Braewood Park (1001 Gaslight Drive), High Hill Park (501 Kirkland Drive), and Spella Park (2610 Harnish Drive) in Algonquin.

An ice skating rink is available at Snapper's Field (599 Longwood Drive) in Algonquin, weather permitting (As a reminder, there needs to be 5 days of sub freezing daytime temperatures for this rink to be opened).
