The townships board will vote on whether the township and it's road district should be dissolved in 2037.

ALGONQUIN, IL — The Algonquin Township Board plans to vote on whether to place a referendum on the spring ballot that would ask voters whether the township and its road district should be dissolved in 2037, the Northwest Herald reports. The question posed to voters would note that if dissolved, the assets, personnel, property, obligations, and liabilities from the road district and township would be transferred to McHenry County.
