3 Restaurants Approved for Liquor Licenses

Georgia's Pancake House, Aroma Tapas Restaurant and Rice Asian Cuisine all will be able to serve alcoholic beverages.

At its May 3 meeting, the village board gave the go ahead for three Algonquin restaurants to be able to serve alcohol.

Georgia's Pancake House, Aroma Tapas Restaurant and Rice Asian Cuisine all will be able to serve alcoholic beverages as soon as they complete the Basic Alcohol Seller/Server Education Training (BASSET) class that is required by the village.

Georgia's Pancake House, 1470 S. Randall Road, is scheduled to open Monday, May 16 and Rice Asian Cuisine, 2523 County Line Road,  just opened its doors this past Friday.

According to its website, Aroma Tapas Restaurant moved from its previous location in West Dundee to its current location, 3907 W. Algonquin Road, Algonquin in 2009.
