ALGONQUIN, IL — A teacher from Community Unit School District 300 is facing multiple felony charges after police say he was involved in a fight outside a bar in Crystal Lake.
Jason K. Katzbeck, 49, of Lake in the Hills, is charged with six counts of aggravated battery along with misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, according to Shaw Local.
Authorities say Katzbeck punched a person during an altercation outside Rookies Sports Bar & Grill in Crystal Lake on April 4 and is also accused of kicking a police officer responding to the scene. He was later released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court May 5, according to the article.
