• Algonquin Restaurant Expands to Dine-In Service (patch.com) — Algonquin residents now have a new dine-in option as The Chick and the Pig on North Main Street transitions from takeout-only to a full indoor dining experience. The expanded space offers seating, a full bar, and family-friendly entertainment like pool, darts, and arcade games, while continuing to serve its popular smoked meats, fried chicken, and comfort food favorites.    

• Huntley man charged after allegedly performing lewd act, restraining woman in Tesla Cybertruck in Algonquin (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Police say a woman was allegedly restrained inside a Tesla Cybertruck while a man engaged in lewd conduct as he drove through Algonquin, leading to felony and misdemeanor charges. Algonquin officers arrested the Huntley resident, who has since been released with conditions, including avoiding a local restaurant and returning to court later this month.
